POTTAGE accepts any type of art that can be put on paper. Emerging writers and artists are encouraged to submit. The only thing we do not accept is AI-generated or assisted work.
Simultaneous and multiple submissions are allowed. Please email pottagemag@gmail.com to withdraw your submission if accepted elsewhere.
SUBMISSION FORMATTING
- Times New Roman or EB Garamond
- 12 pt font
- Single spaced
- 2,500 words max
- pdf, .doc, or .docx
Please submit one file, with each submission on a new page. All ratings and subject matter are welcome, but content warnings are appreciated.
Submissions that do not follow these guidelines will be automatically rejected.
Summer submissions open January 1 – March 15
Winter submissions open July 1 – September 15
There is no cost to submit. At this time, we cannot pay contributors for their work.
By accepting publication, authors grant POTTAGE First Serial Rights, Non-Exclusive Reprint Rights, Electronic Rights, Archival Rights, and Non-Exclusive Anthology Rights. Authors retain all other rights.
